Artesian Wells

Artesian wells, also known as bedrock wells are typically 6” to 8” in diameter and are drilled deep into the earth into solid bedrock, tapping the cracks in the rock that carry water in underground aquifers. The average depth of a bedrock well is between 300 – 500 feet. Bedrock wells have submersible pumps deep inside the well with a tank and controls above ground. Point Wells

Point Wells, also known as shallow wells are typically 2” in diameter and driven into a sand and gravel aquiver that is permeated with water. The average depth of a point well ranges between 20 – 50 feet. Point wells have a jet pump installed above ground with the tank and controls.
